Don’t miss out on Predra Bonita. It offers one of the best views of Rio de Janeiro.
The Pedra Bonita is located inside the Tijuca National Park, surrounded by the Pedra da Gávea, São Conrado and the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood. The hike is fairly easy, so I can recommend it to everyone.
To get to the starting point of the Pedra Bonita hike, you must first ascend Estrada das Canoas. I recommend getting there by car but you can also reach it by bus number 448 (Maracaí x São Conrado).
The hike itself is less than 3 km (roundtrip) and has an elevation change of 290m. When you reach the top you will have one of the best views the city of Rio has to offer.
You have São Conrado and Dois Irmãos to your left and Pedra da Gavea directly in front of you. To your right you find the best view of Barra da Tijuca and its beaches. On clear days, you can even see the Corcovado in the distance.
